Excerpt from the introduction of the Notification Center:

This is a new feature added by our community platform vendor (not built by Unqork) and capabilities are somewhat limited. Currently, there is not much you can do to customize these notifications:

• You cannot disable them.
• You cannot specify which notifications you want to see and which you do not.
• You can control what forums and posts you get notifications on by following/unfollowing.
  • However, following and unfollowing also impacts your email notifications. 

We are working with our vendor and strongly advocating for future enhancements, including the ability to customize your notification settings.
