I’ve been getting this question a lot lately, so I thought I’d share it here. :)

Our Academy team sent this email awhile back to those with these expiring certifications. Additionally, we’ll soon be sharing some updates on certification options via our Updates blog.

As we announced last May, we’ve transitioned to the new era of role-based Unqork learning with the Developer Learning Path!

Part of this transition included discontinuing the Associate and Professional certifications, which will expire permanently in August 2025, and introducing the new Developer certification. We want to recognize the time and effort you put into obtaining your certifications by offering you a free exam voucher to obtain your Developer certification.

To obtain the free exam voucher, you need to:

  1. Complete the net new Developer content.
    1. Developer contains Associate, Professional, and Expert content.
  2. Pass the Developer practice exam.

Once this is complete, please reach out to support.unqork.com and we will provide you with the exam voucher. As the developer certification exam focuses on advanced and untested content, the Developer certification will not be automatically awarded to current certification holders.
