Hackathon: Dynamic Refresh - Sign up by May 31, Build Your App by June 8

Participate in Unqork’s latest Community Hackathon and showcase the power of building codeless applications!

Challenge yourself to build a custom application with Unqork and compete with other developers for one-of-a-kind prizes. The finalists will be invited to demo their work during a live Use Case Showcase event where the audience votes to determine the winner.

Prizes include Unqork Swag, coveted Community badges, and a year’s worth of bragging rights! Additionally, all participants in this Hackathon will receive 100 points and the Hackathon Participant badge on their community profile. 
 

The Challenge

Requirements

• Build your application in Unqork’s Training environment within the Community Hackathon workspace.
• Must make use of the Dynamic Refresh capabilities within the Panel component. 
• Must be a working application that can be demoed via Express view.

Evaluation Criteria

• Usage of Dynamic Refresh capabilities.
• The more sophisticated the application, the better.
• Use case creativity and originality.
• Showcases the power of Unqork by including integrations, workflow operations, and a clean application styling.
• Creativity and polish of the accompanying demo video.
• Bonus points for use of accelerators and recent features: 
  • Address Search Component
  • Real-Time Configuration Analysis Tool; the fewer RTCA warnings, the better!
  • Marketplace accelerators to add functionality and speed up your build! (Note: The utility of the asset matters; bonus points will be weighted by the impact and effectiveness of the functionality added to your application.)

The Process

1. Sign-up using the button above: This is how you receive the submission form and also let us know you plan to participate. 
   • Extended Deadline May 31
2. Build on your own or with your team: Just be sure to submit by the deadline. 
   • This is an asynchronous hackathon for our Creators all around the world!
   • No time minimum or maximum.
3. Submit your app: Use the submission form (emailed to you in step 1) to submit the following:
   • Short video explanation of the application (~5 minutes)
   • Short description of the application 
   • Screenshot of their application
   • Link to application 

The Timeline*

• May 2: Hackathon Launch
• May 31: Deadline to sign up
• June 8: Entries due

Judges will select finalists for each category by late June and we’ll schedule a live showcase for the audience to determine the winners.

The Prizes

Our judges will determine finalists to invite to our live showcase event. On the showcase, finalists will demo and explain their application. The winners will be determined live via an audience vote. 

Additionally, all participants in this Hackathon will receive 100 points and the Hackathon Participant badge on their community profile.
