Data Workflow Deep Dive: Community Conversation Series

Data Workflow (DWF) is a powerful component with an extensive library of operators to use. It is also our most popular Unqork Community topic by far

As we approach 1000 community questions tagged with Data Workflow, let’s explore its extensive capabilities in our first Deep Dive conversation series.

Our goal

Community crowdsourcing use cases, tips, tricks, demo videos, and advice for using specific Data Workflow operators

  • Our Q&A is great, but those are specific to the question, not how to use the operator.
  • Let’s explore the why, how, and when to use specific operators.
  • Collect helpful insights to strengthen our self-service knowledge base.

Dive Dive Topics

Update: This series has concluded at this time.

What to expect?

  1. A weekly conversation thread in our Use Case Showcase forum.
  2. Collect use cases and advice in the replies to the thread.
  3. Later, we’ll break out the replies into individual posts so they can be more easily found.

What’s in it for you?

  • Enhance your Unqork knowledge and skills with a weekly deep dive topic.
  • Showcase your expertise and earn points (below) toward badges and SME status.
  • Learn from others who contribute to the conversation.
  • Strengthen our knowledge base with community-sourced insights.

Bonus points, swag, and badges

When you contribute to conversations in our community, you earn points. Participating in these Deep Dive conversation threads will earn you at least 25 points, or the equivalent of what you’d earn for answering a question.

  • 5 points - standard for replies
  • 5 points - standard each time others upvote your reply
  • 20 points - bonus* for replies within the first week (10 bonus points for replies after that)
  • 10 points - bonus* for replies that include a helpful screenshots
  • 25 points - bonus* for replies that include a short video demo

*Each reply will be reviewed to ensure it meets the criteria specified for the thread.

This new type of community conversation requires contributions from many Creators to be successful. If we can community-source at least 10 helpful insights in the replies to a thread, I’ll add some additional awards:

  • 25 more bonus points for the reply with the most upvotes
  • Unqork swag to the author of the reply with the most upvotes
  • Unqork swag randomly raffled to others who replied in the thread
  • New “DWF Pro” badge for top contributors
