Staying up-to-date on recent Unqork Community activity just got easier!

In addition to email notifications, you will find a new Notification Center in the upper right corner on the navigation menu.

What’s Included


The new Notification Center provides updates on: 

  • Replies to posts you follow.
  • Forums: New posts in Forums you follow.
  • Answers: Best answer marked on posts you follow. 
  • Mentions: Someone @mentioned you in a post or reply.
  • Private messages: Someone sent you a private message.

Other features include options to mark individual or all notifications as read, and the ability to scroll back through notifications from the previous 30 days. 

 

Limitations


This is a new feature added by our community platform vendor (not built by Unqork) and capabilities are somewhat limited. Currently, there is not much you can do to customize these notifications:

  • You cannot disable them.
  • You cannot specify which notifications you want to see and which you do not.
  • You can control what forums and posts you get notifications on by following/unfollowing.
    • However, following and unfollowing also impacts your email notifications. 

We are working with our vendor and strongly advocating for future enhancements, including the ability to customize your notification settings. Add your voice to our feedback by sharing your thoughts here:
