Earlier today, winners were selected in our latest Unqork Community Hackathon. Expleo Group won in the inaugural team category, while @Prasith Sampath Thakura won in the individual category.

Congratulations to each of our winners, as well as our runners up @Manish Gupta and the team from KPMG!

Watch the Finalist Demos

Winners were selected by audience vote after Unqork judges selected two finalists for each category. The finalists showcased their apps on a live webinar featuring 7-minute demos of each app. The audience was comprised of more than 200 Unqork Creators.

Winning Applications

In the individual category, Prasith won with “Zappy Accelerator,” an app-building accelerator created to “allow non-technical users to rapidly generate front-end Unqork modules.”

@Adam.Kelly@Christopher Chan, and @Ross Walker made up team Expleo Group, winning the team category with their “Property Pal” application. “The purpose of the application is to enable potential buyers, tenants and sellers of properties to find the perfect match for their requirements.”

Runners Up

@Manish Gupta from Persistent Systems was our runner up in the individual category with an application for conference management.

Team KPMG was comprised of @haricane18 (Hariharan Subramanian), @Monica Sridaran, and @harishdabade_1. Their application used Dynamic Refresh to create a Snake and Ladder game; a simple and a traditional Indian game where you have two pawns and a dice. (Others may know this game as “Chutes in Ladders”).

More to Come!

Unqork Creators should stay tuned to the Community Hub for more details on each of these finalists and other entries. We’ll share links to view the configuration and express previews for each app, so you can learn hands-on from the expertise of our finalists. And we’ll look to schedule deep dives with finalists to discuss the key aspects of their configuration.
