For our February Power Up Challenge we’re turning things upside down!  Rather than building a POC to help you “power up” your configuration skills, we’re asking you to help us “power up” the Unqork platform. For our January 2026 Power Up Challenge, Creators are encouraged to get hands-on with the Map v2 component and Address Search component (using a Vega runtime module) and explore creative use cases. Each of these components was made compatible with the Vega runtime and feature suite in version 7.26. In particular, you are encouraged to connect the two components: displaying an address from the Address search component using the Map v2 component.  The goal is for you to fully explore what is possible so that you can effectively configure these components for any future requirements you encounter.  Bonus points may be awarded for creativity and thoroughness of the use cases your POC demonstrates. This is a simple, effective way to learn about a specific Unqork feature and share your knowledge with the community. Think of it as a mini-hackathon that's designed to help you explore new functionality at your own pace. How It Works Power Up Challenges are simple and straightforward.Explore: Check out the documentation for the Map v2 component and Address Search component. Build: Create a simple proof of concept (POC) module using this component (see above for guidance) Vega runtime modules only; points will not be awarded for Centauri modules.  UDesigner IDE is encouraged as well; increase your familiarity and provide your feedback.  Share: Post your POC on this thread with an explanation of your use case and configuration. (More details on the thread.)The challenge is open throughout the month of January, so you can fit it in when you have time.  Why Participate?Upskill: Deepen your understanding of Unqork by exploring the latest enhancements and gain skills that are immediately applicable to your work.   Contribute: Help build a rich, on-demand knowledge base of POC examples for the entire community to learn from.    Points and Recognition: All participants will earn at least 50 points and the "Power Up" challenge badge. Additional points may be awarded based on the quality of your POC and use case description. At Unqork, our goal is to provide you with a powerful, stable, and predictable platform that accelerates your business. A critical part of this commitment is listening to your feedback.Based on extensive conversations with our customers and partners, we are excited to announce a strategic update to our platform release calendar, effective beginning in 2026.Starting in Q1 2026, Unqork will be moving to a quarterly General Availability (GA) release cadence. This change will replace our 2025 model of 6-week releases deployed via cohorts.We are making this change for two primary reasons:To Better Align with You: We heard from many of you that our 6-week release cycle created a significant burden on your teams to test, validate, and adopt new versions. Many of you already align your platform updates to a quarterly schedule, and this new cadence makes that process simpler and more predictable. To Enhance Quality and Enablement: A quarterly cycle gives our teams more time to perform comprehensive quality assurance, ensuring each release is more stable and robust.What is Changing?From: A 6-week release cycle with three separate deployment cohorts. To: A 12-week (quarterly) release cycle with a single General Availability (GA) release for all customers.When Will This Change Take Effect?The 2025 release calendar will continue as scheduled.This new quarterly cadence will officially begin with our 8.0 release in Q1 2026, which is scheduled for General Availability in production in March 2026.What Is Not Changing?Our process for weekly patch releases will not change. Last week, Unqork upgraded our Documentation Hub. What to ExpectAI-assisted features that summarize an article, recommend additional articles, and provide a more powerful search with summarized terms. A similar left-side navigation organization that lets you search through nested items on the left of the page, but now also with right-side navigation to navigate to sections of the article. Built-in accessibility features, like the ability to have the site read an article with the click of a button. Updates on new and updated articles published to the site. You can view them directly from the homepage or use the Announcements feature to filter and view more. Feedback portals for Creators to provide positive and critical feedback on an article. New Features  Follow Categories and/or Articles (New Nov 2025)You can now follow categories and articles to receive notifications when updates occur. Here’s how: Click the follow button. Categories: Hover over categories in the side navigation to display the ellipsis, and select Follow Category. Articles: Open the article and click the Follow button near the article title. Enter your email address.  You'll receive email notifications of changes made to that category or article.Options to Follow a category can be found via the elipsis menu in the left side navigation and in the upper right corner of the category pageFor articles, select the Follow button below the article title  View New, Updated, and Trending DocumentationOur new Doc Hub has two options to learn what’s new or updated since your last visit. First, on the home page, you will see a short list of recently added, most viwed, and recently updated articles. Find these columns near the bottom of the Documentation Hub home page Next, via the Megaphone icon, you can access the What’s New page for a robust, filterable experience of what’s new or updated.  Finally, as you explore the site, an icon displays in the documentation to identify it as new or updated. A green dot signifies new documentation, and an orange one indicates updated documentation. There are also labels on articles and pages to signify recent changes. Example of a label on a recently updated page Note: At the outset, all of our documentation may appear “new” due to the migration to the new site. This feature will soon become more accurate as new articles are added and other updates published.  Light and Dark ModeAdjust your experience to your preferred theme using the sunshine icon in the upper right corner. Adjust your theme settings using the sunshine iconUpgraded Search FunctionalityOur new site uses AI-assistance to improve the search experience. As you enter text, a list of articles displays based on the keywords you are using. You can also click on the Eddy AI option in the search window to get an overview of what you are searching for. You can also continue a conversation with the AI bot to narrow down your search.Ask for an AI summary and continue the conversation if necessaryAdvanced search also provides new options for filtering by tags, dates, and categories. 

With the release of Unqork Platform version of 7.26 last month, the KPI component is now available to use with the Vega runtime and feature suite. The KPI component is now available in the Vega runtime. All options and functionality available in Centauri are now available in Vega. For our October Power Up Challenge, Creators are encouraged to get hands-on with the KPI component (using a Vega runtime module) and explore creative use cases.In particular, you are encouraged to explore use cases around advanced styling settings and ways to effectively display KPIs that fit the use case.  Most community questions we’ve received on the Centauri version of this component center around the theme of matching the KPI’s style or settings to the business requirement.  Use as many KPI components in your module as you have creative use cases for; the goal is for you to fully explore what is possible so that you can effectively configure this component for any future requirements you encounter.  Bonus points may be awarded for creativity and thoroughness of the use cases your POC demonstrates. This is a simple, effective way to learn about a specific Unqork feature and share your knowledge with the community. Take Introduction to Unqork  The Creator ProgramUnqork has always been focused on driving faster time to value. Today, we’re releasing a new learning program called Creator to replace our current Developer program as the core experience for all new creators. The new Creator program is designed to help build your first Unqork application. You will learn how to build an entire application from design to configuration to production. This program focuses on building a production-ready application and guides you through end-to-end configuration, go-live considerations, styling settings, promotions, and app maintenance for anyone who will be a technical project team member. The prerequisite for the Creator program is completion of the Novice learning path, which can be achieved through self-service or a live workshop. Unqork Platform version 7.26 is now live in the Training environment, so get ready to level up your skills with our new Community Power Up Challenge! This is a simple, effective way to learn about a specific Unqork feature and share your knowledge with the community. August 19, 2025 marks four years live with our Unqork Community platform! In four short years, we’ve added dozens of new features, won an award, and continuously set new records for our class-leading Q&A.All of this is due to your contributions: your questions, your answers, your insights, your ideas, and your feedback. To celebrate, and to improve your community experience, we have four enhancements to share. But first a little more celebration...Celebrating Recent Milestones 🎉 90% Answer Rate In March, April, May, and June of 2025, our percentage of questions with a marked answer exceeds 90%! July currently sits at 86% and I suspect we’ll reach 90% as some remaining questions are still being discussed. Over the past year, the answer rate on questions currently sits at 88.6%, so we’re well on our way to exceeding 90% for questions asked in year 4 of our community! 7,800 Answers and Counting! Our knowledge base of questions now exceeds 7,800 answers. Overall, we’ve seen more almost 12,000 unique posts when you add in articles, insights, event recordings, ideas, and updates. And we’re nearing 50,000 total posts when you include the many replies. And now for the enhancements... Enhancements to the Community 🚀 Improved Search: Relevance-Based RankingsSearching on the Unqork Community is a fully federated search across many Unqork resources, including Unqork Academy, platform documentation, API documentation, and more. Over the past few months both the search interface and relevance-based rankings have been improved. The primary difference is that federated sources that exist on other platforms (Academy, Doc Hub, API Docs, Marketplace) are more equally ranked in relevance of your searches. (Previously community posts would always appear at the top; now there should be a mix of content sources based on the relevance of each.) As part of this, we have re-indexed all of our documentation, including the API documentation, so that your search is more likely to find the most relevant content related to a topic. There are some additional tweaks and enhancements we’re working on with our platform vendor to continue to improve the relevance and overall search experience.  New Tabs on the Home Page Activity FeedA small, but helpful addition to the primary activity feed on the community home page is the ability to filter by different types of posts: All Posts Questions & Answers Insights & Advice UpdatesIf you’re checking the community for the latests, you can quickly glance through each type, rather than scrolling through it all. Switch between types of posts in the Recent Activity feed  Personalized Announcements on the Home Page​​​​​​​A priority for the next year on the Unqork Community, and your overall experience as a Creator, is to personalize your journey with clear guidance to the next step.
