Staying up-to-date on recent Unqork Community activity just got easier!In addition to email notifications, you will find a new Notification Center in the upper right corner on the navigation menu.Notification Center showing 4 new notificationsWhat’s IncludedThe new Notification Center provides updates on: Replies to posts you follow. Forums: New posts in Forums you follow. Answers: Best answer marked on posts you follow.  Mentions: Someone @mentioned you in a post or reply. Private messages: Someone sent you a private message.Sample of notification types. Note the ability to mark all as read. Other features include options to mark individual or all notifications as read, and the ability to scroll back through notifications from the previous 30 days.  LimitationsThis is a new feature added by our community platform vendor (not built by Unqork) and capabilities are somewhat limited. Currently, there is not much you can do to customize these notifications:You cannot disable them. You cannot specify which notifications you want to see and which you do not. You can control what forums and posts you get notifications on by following/unfollowing. However, following and unfollowing also impacts your email notifications.  We are working with our vendor and strongly advocating for future enhancements, including the ability to customize your notification settings. This month, a few small improvements to your Unqork Community experience have launched:Unmark Answers New Recognition Overview (Points, Badges, and More) How to Earn Points, Badges, and Recognition on the Unqork Community Updated Open Questions Page Recent Answers are also included Unmark AnswersWhile we built a work around for this 18 months ago, our community platform vendor released an improvement to make this process much simpler. Now, the same button you use to mark a reply as the answer to your question can be used to unmark an answer. Once the answer is marked, the button changes to look like this:Unmark answer button; shows on the reply marked as the answerThis functionality is only visible when you are the orginal author of the question. (However, SMEs and Admins also have this capability.)Notes: This change brings some additional adjustments to your experience. We’ve renamed the “Solved” button to “Best Answer” The “Best Answer” button now persists, even after an answer has been marked. If you click “Best Answer” on another reply, it switches the answer to the new reply.  New Recognition Overview (Points, Badges, and More) Our article explaining how to earn points, badges, recognition, and rewards had grown quite long and complex. We have also added new ways to contribute and corresponding recognition for top contributors. For example:And more are planned to launch in the coming months. So we built this new overview page to better explain and organize the many ways you can contribute, along with the various ways we recognize and reward contributions. How to Earn Points, Badges, and Recognition on the Unqork Community  Updated Open Questions PageThe Open Questions quick link on the community home page now links to new resource helping organize and prioritize the questions that still need help. Featured Questions* show at the top, highlighting those questions offering bonus points.    Questions without Replies* show on the top right sidebar, highlighting those that have not yet received any response.    Open Questions now shows the questions ordered by most recently asked, rather than most recent activity (as those questions are more likely to be closer to being solved). *These widgets only show when questions meet the criteria. If you don’t see them, it means there are not any Featured Questions or questions without replies. If you preferred the old view of the Open Questions page, it’s still available here and linked at the bottom of the Open Questions widget on this new resource. Recent Answers are also includedAs an additional feature, this page also includes the mostly recently answered questions as a sidebar widget.Some have requested this feature in the past, plus it’s a new way to sharpen your skills by reviewing solutions to questions others’ have asked.  ​New Open Questions page with the features described above

The results are in! Patil.Use Case TravelBuddy is Travel Booking Web Application designed for users to have seamless travel experiences. TravelBuddy makes every journey easier and more enjoyable.We have two persona:User Admin.We have used Gen AI Connector, Vega Table, Carousel, Timer component, Workflow, Module Based Application, pdf generation.In their demo (video below) they mention that their use case was inspired by real-life experiences planning a vacation. So there's very interesting story behind we selecting this use case. Actually, what happened is me and my team were planning for some trip travel trips, and we were exploring the sites.And we could see many package options, but we did not see an option to customize it, as per our plan. And we didn't find that option anywhere, so we decided why not use this opportunity and build one. This week, new updates are arriving on the Documentation Hub to improve reader experience, provide greater search functionality, and encourage faster access to documentation. This release is the first phase in modernizing the Unqork documentation, making it easier to search, navigate, and locate the relevant information you need to help you build at Unqork.Documentation Hub updates include:New Homepage Layout: No more button navigation on the homepage that requires you to choose a destination to enter the Documentation Hub. Now you can access the navigation menu directly from the homepage. Dynamic Search: See immediate search results as you enter your query into the search field. Side-Navigation Reduction: When exploring the Documentation Hub’s side navigation, you can view twice the number of articles in three-fourths of the space. This enhancement makes it easier to navigate the Documentation Hub on smaller screens. High-Vis: Callouts like TIPs and NOTEs have been redesigned to draw them to your attention even more. Condensed View: Spend less time scrolling through articles because the condensed spacing between headers, images, and callouts takes up less vertical space. Tab Implementation: Navigate to relevant sections of an article quickly using the new tabbing features of articles—for example, quickly navigating to specific settings for a documented feature.You can expect to see the same implementation on the Platform Release Notes site in the coming weeks. UDesigner is Unqork’s new core Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that supports all existing and new Unqork functionalities. Introducing VegaCreators can now also start building next-generation applications with UDesigner on the new Vega runtime. Rest assured, your existing applications will continue to function seamlessly, ensuring continuity while you explore the advanced features and benefits of Vega. Learn about UDesigner & Vega in live training from Unqork Academy. We are excited to share the details of our latest Unqork Community Hackathon. In this asynchronous competition, Creators are asked to build a working application that showcases the power of the next generation of the Unqork platform: UDesigner & Vega. Earn bragging rights, points, badges, gift cards, and other recognition as you showcase your expertise and sharpen your configuration skills. In this postHow it works Timeline* F.A.Q. You can still earn 200 points for participating and showcase your expertise and creativity if you approve us to share your app with the community.  What’s different from previous Unqork Hackathons?This time, there is no individual category. You are required to work in teams of three. Additionally, you will build in a specific hackathon environment (see next question) Where do I build?You will have two options:Build in your company’s staging environment (if it’s on the 7.10 release).  Or we can provide access to a dedicated hackathon environment. Your team will have one dedicated workspace for building your application. More details will be sent once you register. How can I learn more about UDesigner & VegaCheck out our resource page with a F.A.Q. and overview, documentation links, live training, office hours, and more.  Does Unqork offer dedicated support for Hackathon participants?In addition to the resources above and our always-on Community Hub, questions tagged with UDesigner or Vega are routed to the Unqork Product and Engineering teams for UDesigner and Vega. This way, they have real time visibility into questions and can help answer them on the community. If you’re in need of additional support, work with your primary Unqork contact to request options.  Is there a time limit? How much time will it take to participate?We believe you can and should participate in this Hackathon even if you only spend a few hours on your app. While there is no time limit, there’s also no time minimum. If you only have an hour or two to spare, we recommend the steps in the next question. So then, why the long timeline? As an asynchronous competition, we’re allowing plenty of time for you to build your application whenever you have some free time to explore. Whether that means working for a few hours in one sitting or for a few minutes here and there across a few weeks.  How do I get started?The primary focus of these Hackathons is to give you a fun reason to explore new functionality and fine tune your skills as a Creator. Getting started means first familiarizing yourself with these new grid components. Put together a team of 3 Creators. Sign up via the event page. Review the documentation and other learning resources.  Come up with your application use case. It can be simple; it cam be complex. It can be fun, it can solve a business problem. Whatever use case you can think of to meet the criteria outlined on the event page. Outline your general config. Develop a plan; map out how you might build this application. This will save you time and help you manage the time you spend building.  Start building! Who will see my application?While our dedicated hackathon environment with host all the applications, each team will be given access to one dedicated workspace. Due to Unqork’s Workspaces Role-Based Access Control (WSRBAC), only your teammates will be able your application. Additionally, Unqork staff (judges and those coordinating the hackathon) will have access to your workspace and application. However, we will not modify any configuration. If you’re chosen as a finalist, you will be asked to demo your application on a live showcase event. In that case, many more will see your application demo on the live event, post-event recording, and post-event marketing materials (if you approve).  Additionally, we hope that not finalist participants will opt-in to sharing your application in posts like this on the Community Hub. This will help other Creators learn from your work by watching the video, asking questions, or maybe even sharing advice.  Can I submit more than one application?Absolutely! Any submissions received by the deadline will be considered. In fact, I’ll give you 200 points for each application you submit. I don’t think I’ll win, why should I participate?Hands-on experience with the next generation of the Unqork Platform!This is a fun way to explore functionality you might not yet have a use case for in your day job. Maybe you’re early on in the build of your application, maybe you specialize with data workflow, but don’t get to configure the UI, maybe you’re part of a large team and don’t get to design or make the big decisions on your apps.With this Hackathon, you get to own every part of building a (small) application, as well as having the freedom to get creative or have fun with your use case!  Okay, but what are the prizes?Each participant will receive 200 points, as well as the Hackathon Participant badge on their Community profile.
