Congratulations to Laxminarsaiah Ragi on earning the #1 spot on the Unqork Community Leaderboard

Our Unqork Community Leaderboard has a new #1 all time leader: @Laxminarsaiah Ragi! 🎉Additionally, Laxmi’s next solved answer will his 200th answer provided in less than 3 years in our community. 😮An incredible accomplishmentWhen we launched the Community Hub in August of 2021, we brought over points from our previous Q&A forum. At the time, our leaderboard was dominated by Unqork staff; they built the strong foundation we continue to build upon today, answering questions to support our customers, partners, and each other.Passing the likes of long-tenured SMEs like @Christopher Guzmán, @Dara, and @Kristen Stilwell was no small feat. Thank you to those three, as well as all our other SMEs and top contributors, for all they’ve done and continue to contribute. An amazing impactIn addition to the the 200 answers provided, Laxmi has consistently contributed each month. Here are just a few highlights of his accomplishments:Nearly 18,000 points (and counting!) Record for most points in a month (2,473!) Record for most answers in a month (30!) Most points earned in 2022 (and leading in 2023!) Most points in a month 5x 2nd most points in a month 5x Most answers in a month 6x 5 Trending Answers, many have trended across many weeks, including answers from many months priorLearn about LaxmiLaxmi is one of our fantastic Subject Matter Experts, having originally earned SME status in December of 2021.He currently works for Deloitte (Linkedin), and previously shared part of his journey learning Unqork in our power user spotlight series.

This course is highly recommended for all Creators and is under consideration to become a new requirement for Subject Matter Experts status. More details to come.    Dynamic Refresh This new course introduces you to Unqork's Dynamic Refresh, including how and when to use it, as well as applying best practices. See Dynamic Refresh in action with real world use cases in the recording of our latest Hackathon showcase. You can also find links to review the configuration in our Use Cases Showcase forum.  New DocumentationLast week, we announced the next generation of the Unqork platform. Read more about it here: Next, take a deeper dive with this new documentation:  UDesigner Academy Course Documentation   Integration Gateway Integration Administration (updated documentation to include Integration Gateway) Two example use cases in these new how-to articles: How to: Create Salesforce Contact Records How to: Get Salesforce Contact Records Updated Documentation Best Practice: Configuration Added a detailed best practice for the Data Workflow component with suggested configuration when inputting value with a {{$}} at the end as an argument. When inputting a Data Workflow operator to another operator’s argument port, {{_arg}} returns {{null}} if the input value contains a {{$}} at the end of the text, regardless of the operator. The best practice is to use a Set operator because it does not require the {{_arg}} parameter.   Module Settings Added a note to highlight that the module size is also dependent on the size of your translations information when the Enable Translations setting is set to ON.   Services Administration Added clarification that users cannot use underscores or spaces for a Service Name.

What sets this release apart is that our team built these features entirely on our codeless platform passing the product version of the “Turing Test.” After decades of building software with different languages and technologies, it is an amazing feat to get to the point where our team can build – and actually prefers to build – with our own codeless platform.  As we call it, we “drink our own champagne.”Thanks to our extraordinary team and the power of Unqork, in just one quarter, we were able to concept, build, and launch the first Integrated Development Environment (IDE) designer without a single line of code, which will in-turn help our customers unlock faster innovation. Compared to the years this would have taken with traditional coding, this is a testament to Unqork's technology. [...]It’s time to embrace the future of codeless, and I’m excited to be a part of Unqork who is leading the charge. Explore Unqork's latest release and witness how software will be built!

Celebrating Two Years with Unqork's Community Hub!

Today completes two full years live with our Unqork Community Hub! As we did last year, let’s celebrate with a review of how far we’ve come in the past twelve months. Community happens in collaboration with each of you contributing to our success. Thank you for another great year! Award Winning Community Year 2 Highlight: Class-Leading Reply and Answer Rates Year 2 in Review What’s Next?Award Winning CommunityIn May, we were recognized as a leader in the customer communities with a Gainsight GameChanger Award! Year 2 Highlight: Class-Leading Reply and Answer RatesOne year ago, we had a “good problem” to solve: as engagement increased on the Community Hub, it became harder to keep up with the increased rate of questions. So we made it our goal to improve your experience. How did we do? Over the past year, we have improved our answer rate by 30% and ensured that almost every question received a helpful reply. These are class-leading results, as community industry benchmark reports (like this), indicate SaaS communities average only about a 50% answer rate.  Year 2 in ReviewAugust: We added recognition for top contributors (more to come on this at the end!).   September: The engine behind our drastically improved reply and answer rates launched:   October: We wrapped up our second hackathon.   November: Two UX improvements.    December: New and expanded features.   January: More flexibility and more benefits for SMEs.     February: We kicked off a new, annual points competition.    March: The first in a revamp of resource links on the home page.     April: Home page revamp part two!   May: Our biggest month of the year!We launched a new community feature to help you track enhancements, bug fixes, and documentation updates for specific features.  We won our award: We hosted an Ask the Expert series on our spring release:   And our Technical Writing team put together a great new resource featured on the Community home page:    June: One of the most significant UX improvements since we launched.   July: New opportunities, new functionality, and 4 great Dynamic Refresh demos.   August: And circling back to where we began with updated rewards for top contributors.   What’s Next?Earlier today we announced changes coming soon: And we’re always looking for ways to improve your experience. Send me a message or an email at community@unqork.com with your feedback and ideas.

Now Live: Changes to Your Training Environment and Community Experiences

Update: September 11, 2023These changes have now been implemented. Read more in the original post below, these FAQs on the WSRBAC for the Training environment, and in this recommended best practices article for the community:  If a POC link is broken on Community Hub: Please flag the post and let us know. We are still working to preserve past POCs in the new Community Answers workspace. We will do our best to expedite any reported links.  If you are having issues the Training Environment: Create a support ticket so the team can help resolve it. We're excited to announce that we will be turning on workspace role-based access control (WSRBAC) in the Unqork Training environment in the coming weeks. This will bring about a number of changes to the Training environment and the Unqork Community Hub that will improve the user experience and enhance performance. Why we’re making this changeBetter performance in the Training environment. WSRBAC will allow us to better manage empty workspaces, unused applications, and inactive users leading to a cleaner, more performant environment. It will also allow you to load personal applications with ease and build with confidence.   Better UX in the Training environment. Your view will be simpler and more personalized. Your personal workspace should be one of the first workspaces you see, rather than having to locate it using the search function or adding it to your bookmarks. You’ll also be able to easily navigate to shared resources on Academy and Community.  Improve preservation of POCs on Community. Part of this change will be to preserve helpful POCs built to answer questions on Community in a view-only workspace. This will allow us to grow our library of examples and ensure broken links in Community are a thing of the past. What this means for youUsers will be limited to a single personal workspace. You will not be able to access workspaces of other creators unless participating in a training program that requires cross workspace collaboration. This will keep your workspace clear and enhance the training experience for all. Your personal workspace was created for you when you first accessed the training environment.    Users will also have access to two Community workspaces. For Community Q&A, you’ll need to build (or copy/paste) a POC in the Community Collaboration workspace. When a POC is included in a marked answer on Community Hub, it will be moved to the Community Answers workspace. Everyone will be able to read those POCs, but won’t be able to modify it. Thus, preserving the integrity of the answer / avoiding breaking the POC.   Some of your Community built POCs may move. If a POC was selected as the top answer to a community question, it will be moved to the Community Answers workspace. The URL will remain the same, but it will no longer be in your personal workspace. (You will be able to copy/paste the definition if you want a copy in your personal workspace.)This will be a seamless transition that should not affect any training programs you are participating in or disrupt any open* questions you have on the Community Hub. As always, please let us know if you run into any issues or have any questions.*However, open questions older than 1 year may be archived.Unqork Community & Enablement Teams

If you are also using the application setting and functionality of the Header and Footer Modules, you must set the Module Permissions of the application’s Logout Module, Header Module, and Footer Module to "Allow Access to Anonymous Users" and provide Read-Only access to Anonymous Users.   Clarifications added to Introduction to Applications When writing (create/update) to Unqork submissions as a non-Administrator Express role, the Property IDs being saved must be present as a component somewhere within the module or application where the submission will be written to. When writing to Unqork submissions, Super-Users (Admins with Full Submission Access, pre-built Administrator role) behave differently than non-Admins; superseding RBAC controls on which Property IDs can be written to Unqork submissions. How to Delete Posts and Unmark Answers on the Community Hub?

A small, but impactful improvement to your Unqork Community Hub experience is now live; requests to delete a post or unmark an answer from your question are automated! Previously, these requests were sent to the community team for review, delaying resolution until working hours of the next business day. Note: the automated improvements only work for posts for which you are the author or answers on questions you asked. If you flag a post authored by someone else, the request will be flagged to the community team for review. How it worksThe overall process is mostly the same. You have the option to select ‘Flag/Delete’ from the *** menu on the bottom right corner of any post (including replies). Find Flag/Delete in the *** menuThe small adjustment comes in stating the reason for your request. The reasons DELETE and UNMARK will trigger the appropriate resolution. Help text guides you through the automated actionsOnce you submit, the delete or unmark request should process immediately. Refresh the page to see your request fulfilled.  Best practiceThere is one use case for auto-deleting a post we want to avoid; when you solve the question you asked on your own. While your instinct may be to delete the post, we prefer that you reply to your own question with the solution and mark the answer. Not only will you earn points for both providing and marking the answer, but you strengthen our community knowledge base with an answer others can leverage in the future.
